Volkswagen's Electric Taxi Concept

What do you think of when you hear London? To some, images of the infamous London taxi almost immediately drive through their heads. Some of us might also think of smog. But, those common associations could very well change if Volkswagen's newly introduced electric taxi concept is put into gear.
Based around a previous concept from a few years ago, the Volkswagen electric taxi is powered by a 115 horsepower (hp) electric motor fueled by a lithium-ion battery pack. VW claims the concept has a range of about 180 miles, which trumps the Leaf by nearly double. Plus, it…
