Here at Boston Volkswagen, we have always know our favorite hatchback is one of the most popular models among drivers in Bedford and now we have the proof to back it up.

Only a few days away, the Geneva Motor Show is certainly creating a lot of buzz and everyone here at Boston Volkswagen is excited for it to arrive. We already know there will be plenty of concept cars and technologically advanced automotive technologies displayed. However, there is one concept car in particular that we can't wait to see. We are excited to see our new Volkswagen XL1 concept car.

Here at Boston Volkswagen, we know how much parents stress about the safety features of their family vehicles. Believe it or not, we're parents too and that's why we were incredibly proud when the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety found nine of our new Volkswagen models to be "Top Safety Picks". Our Volkswagen fans in the Boston, Watertown and Bedford communities who keep up with our Boston Volkswagen blog have already heard about the new seven-passenger SUV that debuted in Detroit this January. But for our Volkswagen fans who haven't heard, the new CrossBlue concept certainly made a splash at the Detroit Auto Show.

As we get closer and closer to the North American International Auto Show our anticipation and excitement is growing. It is exciting to see the latest developments and new models. At Boston Volkswagen, we cannot wait to see what will be showcased in Detroit. But we think everyone is particularly interested in the all new seven passenger, three-row SUV from Volkswagen.

Each decade in American history has a specific style and culture that represents the time period. Exterior car designs are similar in which the style and aesthetics mirror the fashion and cultural trends of that decade. Recently, Volkswagen debuted its droptop version of its new 2013 Beetle which is set to be released in conjunction with a 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s decade inspired Beetle. Each inspired Beetle was designed to encapsulate the culture of that era and borrows from the designs of the particular ten year span.

Here at Boston Volkswagen we cannot wait for you to test drive our 2013 Volkswagen Golf. We're confident that once you've been behind the wheel of it, you'll absolutely fall in love with it. As some of you have already seen, we've launched a new commercial featuring the British electronic music band, Depeche Mode. The bands popular song, "People Are People," from the 1980s is sung by Golf drivers from all different walks of life. The commercial truly encapsulates a company core value which also happens to be the tagline for the new Volkswagen Golf: "You need to know people to build Das Auto."

Normally, we'd say the perfect summer day in the greater Boston area includes a nice walk around the city, and maybe taking in a game at Fenway Park. This year, probably only the former is true, so it got us at Boston Volkswagen thinking of how nice it'd be to cruise around in a new convertible. That's why we were very excited to see that VW will debut the 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show this fall, making an already popular and iconic model even better.

Imagine lying on the beach, watching the sunset and feeling the warm ocean breeze. Then imagine crawling into your VW for a cozy, comfortable night's sleep?With the new Volkswagen California Beach van, that dream is entirely possible.

Sometimes if you want something bad enough, all you have to do is ask. VW aficionados took this adage into account last year and requested the arrival of a brand-new Volkswagen Golf variant. Boston Volkswagen is very pleased to announce that the automaker was happy to oblige. The 2012 VW Golf R will be released early next year in the U.S. market at a price tag of $33,990.
