What do you think of when you hear London? To some, images of the infamous London taxi almost immediately drive through their heads. Some of us might also think of smog. But, those common associations could very well change if Volkswagen's newly introduced electric taxi concept is put into gear.

Volkswagen has teased their new concept for weeks, with sketches and photos released across the World Wide Web. But Volkswagen will finally unveil the unnamed midsize sedan (originally named NMS) at the 2011 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The German carmaker posted a new photo of the cape-covered NMS on its site, and announced a reveal for January 10th. Volkswagen's announcement also reopens speculation of a midsize sedan, which in the past was thought to be an Americanized version of their popular CC.
