Have you seen the new movie, Horrible Bosses yet? If you haven't, Boston Volkswagen highly suggests you make the time to do so. Now, don't worry, we aren't auto junkies turned movie critics nor are we attempting to influence your film taste. We're simply amped about the movie's star-studded cast which includes the likes of Jennifer Anniston, Colin Farrell, Kevin Spacey and the Volkswagen Jetta.
That's right. Our favorite automaker's popular sedan stole the focus of several scenes, showing off its astounding drive and unexpected thrill. And while the Jetta was surrounded by a slew of talented actors, its personal performance was 100-percent real. Available in four different trims (S, S with sunroof, SE, SE with convenience), the VW Jetta offers more ponies than one would expect for a relatively small sedan. Depending on trim, powerful is delivered via either a 115-hp, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder or a 170-hp, 2.5-liter 5-cylinder engine.
Based on a comical plot involving three working men trying to wreak havoc for their bosses, Horrible Bosses perfectly portrays the Jetta as a fun-to-drive, adventurous, capable model. That depiction alone is enough for us to give the movie an Oscar-level nod of approval. However, we'll leave the nominating to those who know Hollywood and instead, give you a behind-the-scenes peak at the Jetta details not shown on screen.
Here are some of the most noteworthy VW model feature options:
- Remote keyless entry- Intelligent Crash Response System
- Folding rear seat with center armrest and pass-through
- V-tex leatherette seating surfaces
- SIRIUS Satellite Radio with three-months free
- Heated seats
Whether you've grabbed a glimpse of the Volkswagen Jetta on the big screen or spotted it zipping along on the road, feel free to drop by Boston Volkswagen at 43 North Beacon Street Watertown, MA 02472 and learn more about the vivacious sedan-turned-film-star. Of course, we have plenty of other new Volkswagen models available for you to test out as well. They may not have made it to film like the Jetta, but you can be sure each VW variant displays all the same remarkable talent.
